Congratulations to all the girls on the lists. But I have to ask why Sickles pitcher Chelsea Oglevie was omitted from the list. Her stats and schedule difficulty easily justify her being recognized here. She finished 13-3 with a .96 ERA, 11 complete games and 5 shutouts. She beat many strong teams including Palm Harbor University, Seminole, East Lake (regular season), Jensen Beach, Gaither (3x) and others.

In the regional quarterfinals, she pitched a PERFECT 8 inning 1-0 game versus perpetual powerhouse Venice. She then threw a 13-0 shutout of Gaither in the semifinals, before losing to Alyssa Bache and East Lake 1-0 in the regional finals on an unearned run. This means she threw 22 innings without an earned run in 3 regional games.

And to top it off she batted .400 on the season. So why no love for Chelsea?

Although I've heard of Olgevie, unbelievably, no one submitted her name on a nominating form ballot. (They've been available to everyone online for two months)

I am adding a top North Florida infielder where a mis-classed player was on the 2nd team (Nikki Wilfong) and also adding Chelsea to HM. She was certainly deserving of it.

Thank you for taking the time to put the lists together to give these girls their well-deserving recognition. High School season in Florida is long, hot and a lot of work. Seeing their efforts rewarded has to be fulfilling for them.
